Ogawa Laboratory at UEC (University of Electro-Communications)
Japanese page
We mainly study information theory and its various extensions/applications such as quantum information theory, information geometry, communication theory, cryptography, random number generation and mathematical physics. Our aim is to develop new research fields where engineering, mathematics and physics meet. In these researches, we also aim to provide educational process for mathematical engineering.
-
Research fields : information theory (data compression, channel coding),
quantum information theory, statistical inference, cryptography,
secret sharing scheme, information geometry, information spectrum method,
random number generation, mathematical physics
